But, what the hell. Gonna make it anyway. SUE ME.
Just hours away, Golden Globes will kick off the awards season—or as I like to call it 'The Tinseltown's Hunger Games'. It'll be such a chaotic 60 days—YES! thanks to Winter Olympics they move The Oscars to march—not just for the nominated actors themselves, but also for their stylist!—I mean, have you see Rachel Zoe Project?
Still, it's always such a fascinating season for me. It fulfills my needs for 2 of my favorite subject: Movies and Fashion. I love to watch the actors that I'm rooting to win, but also see the awards attendees fashion choices.
And yes, I have the list of people that I wanna see:
- Cate Blanchett. Here's the thing: Cate doesn't dress to amuse people, she dresses for fashion. She doesn't afraid to take risks and wear avant-garde designs. She's truly a fashion darling. I still remember her Givenchy couture dress that she wore at the 2011 Oscars. It was manifique! I have high hopes for her.
- Lupita Nyong'o. This newcomer had caught my eye for a while. She dresses impeccably. She really knows how to work with prints, but also can pull off a really ladylike dresses. She's definitely a one to watch.
- Jennifer Lawrence. It's crazy how different 2 years can make. I mean, before 'Hunger Games' franchise and 'Silver Linings Playbook'—which she won her first oscar—she's practically nobody. But now, all of the sudden, she's in everyone's lips! Her fashion also changes from time to time. It's quite a transformation from that red Calvin Klein dress at the 2011 Oscars to what she is now, a Dior darling. But please, if her stylist is reading this—a blogger could dream, right?—DON'T LET HER JUST WEAR DIOR DRESSES. I NEED TO SEE HER IN OTHER DESIGNS. 'Cause Lord knows that she's been having more misses than hits every time she wears Dior.
- Amy Adams. I WANNA SEE HER GROW, fashion wise. She tends to wear these frou-frou, fuzzy, cinderella ball gown dresses, which she looks absolutely amazing on. But I'm dying to see her wearing these sexy dresses—gucci sexy, preferably.
Bye, for now.
